Sign Language Diagnostician and Assessment
Training in England, May, 1999.

On May 18 - 21, 1999 Sign Languages International, Ltd., hosted a Diagnostic Assessment course  at Hengrave Hall near Bury St. Edmund in the Suffolk area of England. This page reflects the surroundings and spirit of the group which had participants from England, Northern Ireland, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Italy, The Netherlands, Sweden, and The United States.

The purpose of the seminar was to train participants in the area of diagnostic assessment of Sign Language interpretation. A unique aspect of the sessions included assessing interpretations rendered in the spoken and Sign languages of each country.

Summer House This is the Summer House on the grounds of Hengrave Hall. Working sessions were held here to discuss interpreting tasks.
