As a graduate social work student, I specialized macro practice, and completed the concentration in social work administration at Wayne State University. After that, I practiced for more than ten years a hospital social worker, working in rehabilitation and later as a social work director and hospital administrator. My background has prepared me to teach practice and policy courses, but I have taught in most areas of the BSW curriculum. Right now, I am especially enjoying teaching research.
