I have been writing journalistically for decades, starting in junior high when I created a typewritten  newsletter that detailed the athletic exploits of my best friend and me.

Between then and now, I have worked as a reporter, photographer and editor for newspapers and magazines as well as serving as a public relations practitioner.

My most recent experiences come as a freelance writer for the Detroit News.

“I am deeply interested in the progress and elevation of journalism, having spent my life in that profession, regarding it as a noble profession and one of  unequaled importance for its influence upon the minds and morals of
the people.”
