Ken Rust is the Department Chair of the Sign Language Studies (SLS) Department at Madonna University.  He has been teaching American Sign Language and interpreting courses for thirty-one years at Madonna University. He firmly believes that Sign Language is a Human Right and that all children and adults have the right to acquire American Sign Language. (Please refer to the SLS Mission Statement.)
